Glo Slashes Down 200% Airtime Bonus to 75%

Well, I know that some of you might not be happy with this, especially after hearing that Airtel just slashed down Blackberry data bundle prices.

For long now, Glo in with Glo Overload plan has been awarding their subscribers with 200% airtime bonus for those that dialled *200# once before loading N200 or above worth of airtime.

But the sad news here is that instead of increase, Glo has decided to slash down the 200% bonus airtime to 75% for subscribers that will dial *200# once before loading at least N200 worth of airtime.

And you should know here that the bonus validity remains 7 days and with it, you can call all networks across the country at a flat rate of 40K/sec.

But this whole thing has kept many people wondering on why these network providers will wake up one day and start slashing down bonuses just like that.

That was how they slashed down Glo bounce bonus data, and MTN on their own decided to slash down MTN Better talk bonus airtime validity from 7 days to 3 days.

I think it is time to start considering the Airtel network, because while Airtel is slashing down what is supposed to be slashed down, Glo and MTN on the other hand are busy slashing down what subscribers did not ask them to slash down, while Etisalat remains neutral for now.
