It’s Official, MTN Night Data Plan No Longer Work In Day Time With Simple Server For Now, Just be Managing this First

I have been receiving series of messages lately concerning the MTN night data plans, and lots of people have complained to me that they can no longer use it to browse in day time with simple server.

Now, I can officially tell you that it is true and that the MTN night plan cans no longer work for 24 hours with simple server, and this was simply as a result of MTN disabling Facebook and Twitter day time access with the 3GB night data.

You could recall that before, with MTN night data plan, even when you have exhausted the bonus 24hours 1.5GB, and you are left with the 3GB night access, you can still access Facebook and Twitter only in the day time.

And it is through this Facebook and Twitter 24hours access we tunneled the 3GB night plan with simple server to access other sites 24/7.

But MTN has decided to stop the 24hours Facebook and Twitter access with the remaining 3GB night data, and what that simply means is that MTN 3GB night plan can no longer be used for 24hours with simple server for the time being.

I know that most of you will now be asking for the way forward.

Well, for now, you know it is said that “when the desirable is not available, the available automatically becomes the desirable”.

Since it has been confirmed that MTN network is the best network in terms of data consumption rate (unlike some other networks that zaps) and I know that you will not want to miss that MTN virtue, you have to be managing the newly introduced MTN night plan that still offer same 4.5GB at the same price, but differs in terms of data deduction timing between the bonus 1.5GB and the 3GB.

You all know that with the old MTN night data plan, you have to exhaust the 1.5GB bonus first (regardless of the time you are using it) before you jump into the remaining 3GB night data.

But with this New MTN night data plan you can only use the 1.5GB data in the day time from 6AM to 9PM and the moment the time clocks above 9PM, data deduction is being switched to the 3GB night data.

By so doing, it helps extend and safeguard your 1.5GB during night hours. In other words you use your bonus 1.5GB only in the day time while the 3GB takes charge of your night browsing even when you still have some gigs in the 1.5GB bonus data.

So that is how the new MTN night data plan works.

Also remember that for the old MTN night data plan, to subscribe, you usually dial *102# or you do send 102 to 131 in an SMS, but to subscribe to this New MTN night data plan, you have to dial *120# or send 120 to 131 in an SMS.
