The way forward on recent ups and downs surrounding airtel BIS browsing on PC and android devices

It is no longer news that airtel BIS has been the only BIS plans amongst the four major network providers in the country that can be used to surf the internet on non-blackberry devices, but it is now latest news making the round that airtel BIS browsing on non-blackberry devices has now turned into something else, that airtel now zaps the data bundles as if water is being poured into a basket, and this latest development has now become so unfavorable for airtel numerous users.

Since the beginning of this month, airtel has drastically modified their BIS plans especially on how it is used on non-blackberry devices. At the beginning of this month, airtel started zapping BIS data bundle twice as fast as normal when used on non-blackberry devices, after that, they still went further to reduce the data being given on all the BIS plans, and as if that is still not enough they went further to start deducting BIS data erratically to the extent that you can now even exhaust N1,500, now 1.5GB BIS data plan within 2 days without even involving in heavy browsing.

No doubt that this development has saddened a lot of airtel subscribers especially for those that have relied solely on it these previous years for their cheaper internet access, and so many have even concluded to shun the airtel network and move on.

Now boys and girls are not smiling again at the mention of airtel BIS browsing on non-blackberry devices and the one question that still remains in their mouth is ‘what is now the way forward on cheap internet access?’ With a clear understanding of the question, the best way forward is what I am about to reveal to you now.

Since airtel has now decided to turn their back at this very moment to millions of subscribers using their BIS plans to access cheaper internet services on their devices, regardless of that you still have to move forward and access the internet since internet has now become more or less a necessity for many, so I present to you the best alternative to your internet access for now.

At this point, for the PC users, we assume that you have already un-locked your modem and can use any of the SIM from any of the network providers. If you have not un-lock your modem, you can read up the instruction on how to properly unlock that your stubborn modem

Let move on, now go for the MTN N2,500 night plan by sending 102 to 131 in a text message or by simply dialing *102#. The good thing here about this plan is that you will be given 3GB plus bonus 1.5GB that you can use all day. After you have exhausted the bonus 1.5GB, the remaining 3GB can then be used only at night from 9pm to 6am.

But if you feel the real need to also browse in the day time after you must have exhausted the 1.5GB, you can now augment the remaining 3GB plan that works only at night with an additional Glo always micro data plan of N1,000 that offers 350mb plus 150mb bonus(total of 500mb) for the month.

The question here is how do you get the bonus 150mb with your glo line after loading the N1,000 to subscribe for the 350mb normal monthly glo data plan?

Here is the little trick; first of all before doing anything, migrate your glo line to glo bounce plan by dialing the code *170*4#. After that you will notice that each N200 airtime that you load while in that plan, you will be given a bonus of 30mb that you can use for 7 days, so the main deal here now is with the N1,000 that you will be using for the 350mb monthly plan, make sure that when buying the airtime, you request for five N200 glo recharge.

So since each of the N200 that you will recharge will give you 30mb of data bonus, by the time you have finished loading the five N200 airtime, you should have gotten free 150mb.

After which you now subscribe for the always micro plan of N1,000 for 350mb by dialing *127*53#. So the 350mb plus your bonus 150, you get a total of 500mb. You can now decide to be using the glo 500mb only in the day time and your remaining 3GB MTN at night. To check your bundle balance at any time, simply dial #122#.

I believe with the above explanation, I have been able to give you the best alternative to the airtel BIS plan that you can use to access the internet on any devices.
