It has been noticed that many upcoming bloggers who mostly think that making money through blogging is as easy and fast as ABC also jump into any blogging niche without knowing the blogging niche that matches their passion and just believing that within a short period of time they will turn into a pro or successful blogger.

It will make you know your potential on time and for you to immediately see whether you can or cannot cope in the blogosphere, in other word it will make you know if blogging is for you or not because everybody will not be a blogger, this in turn will save you useful amount of time and energy that you would have lost going into blogging and stopping half way, so you will now know whether to venture into blogging or not.
How to know which blogging niche matches your passion and what really to expect on your initial or early stage to blogging success

Since we are talking of how to match the different blogging niche available with your passion, for the benefit of those that don’t already know what blogging niche is all about, in simple and very short terms, I want to say that blogging niche or just niche is just that specific area of specialization in the blogosphere, and we have so many different specific area of specialization here that trying to mention all can even appear almost inexhaustible.

But I will like to follow up this topic for clearer and proper understanding by mentioning four (4) most common blogging niches in the blogosphere today with different sub- categories niches that can be adopted individually or separately in brackets, and I will group one of the niches as they are most commonly used together by bloggers. Below are the 4 most common blogging niches that you see all day;

1.      Entertainment, news and lifestyle niche ( fashion, music, video, sports etc)

2.      Technology niche ( phones, computers, software, internet, cars, weapons etc)

3.      Education ( Schools, scholarships, admissions and examination etc)

4.      Tutorial ( on anything you can think of)

So what I will be doing now is to break each of the 4 niches into details that will let you know exactly what is expected for your success at the initial stages of your blogging career.

I will be highlighting advantages and disadvantages of each of the niches and comparing and contrasting each.

Here, I will be using these most common niches to help you find your blogging passion in any of the niche if only you have any passion for blogging at all; don’t worry because after this you will know if you have any blogging passion . Now let take on each of the niche and go into details

You may also want to read how to make you blog posts attractive

1.      Entertainment, News and Lifestyle

This is one of the most common blogging niches available in the blogosphere today. In this niche, the juice from blog posts fades away almost instantly just within a very short period of time.

So for you to make something tangible on this niche even at your initial stage of blogging you need to be posting or updating your blog constantly and daily, on the average we say 3 to 5 posts daily. Here, with Pay per Click (PPC) ads on your blog, the Cost per Click (CPC) is often very low. Update are post is mostly hot and it is quite easy to source for what to post, by so doing there is high level of plagiarism going on in this niche.

In most times, it attracts the highest numbers of visitors and page views. The niche is highly competitive and it is difficult to rank high on search engines, but performs extremely well on social media. It cuts across equally in gender enthusiasm.

2.      Technology

This is also a very common and interesting niche with wide sub-categories. In this niche, post juice fades away gradually and with time, not as instant as the 1st niche, e.g. a post fades gradually just the way a recently introduced new phone in the market will fade gradually in demand and interest within a period of time.

The niche needs constant update updates in your early stage of blogging but not as constant as the 1st niche, let say one post in every 2 days or 3 days, not necessarily daily if you lack posts.

With PPC ads, this niche most times has higher CPC than that of the first niche; it is more difficult to source for content to put together to post than the 1st niche, lower level of plagiarism as compared to the first.

It also attracts high level of visitors and pageviews but not as the 1st niche, it is lesser competitive, easier to rank high on search engine than the 1st, performs well on social media but not as the first. In terms of gender this niche in most cases attracts more male visitors than females.

3.      Education

This is yet another common blogging niche that we often see in the blogosphere.

This niche is quite similar to the technology niche in the sense that post juice also gradually fades away with time, e.g. let say you have a post on a particular school upcoming student admission date, with time the admission date will come and go and people will no longer be interested in that update.

Here, posting also should be quite constant on your initial stage, say one post in two days or a post daily. With PPC ads, it has moderate CPC as compare to the above 2 niches, somewhat difficult to search a get a post for update, but not as difficult as niche 2.

It has lower level of plagiarism as compared to niche 1 but higher as compared to niche 2. It attracts high numbers of craving visitors and pageviews, not very competitive as niche 1 and 2. It does well also in social media and also easier to rank high on search engine than niche 1 and 2. This niche attracts equal gender.

4.      Tutorial

This is another very important niche and what appeared to me in my opinion as the best niche.

Here, tutorial can be on virtually anything that you can think of or anything that you are knowledgeable in, so far you have something to offer.

Tutorial can range from something as simple as how to say the English alphabet in different languages to something very complex like how to travel to space with a space shuttle.

Think of anything at all, I believe people will always be there to consume it. In this niche, post juice last for very long period of time, sometimes can even tend to last forever as new and upcoming humans or younger generations will surely continue to search for knowledge online.

With this niche, the rate of blog post can even be done once in a week at your early stage or once in 2 or 3 days. In most cases, it has the highest CPC with PPC ads and with high ranking keywords.

It is easier to source for post as compare with other niches, because post ideas can even come as a result of residual knowledge, but sometimes can take greater deals and time to put up the post together which are most of the time lengthy. It is not very competitive because you can easily stand out from the crowd here and truly show your skills and talent and also your writing prowess.

It does well on social media too and performs best on search engine as compared to other niches above, because tutorials or post juice remains fresh over the years for upcoming individuals and forever increasing new internet users. It is less free from plagiarism and gender discrimination is often very low as it cuts across in most cases.

But it is also very important to know that above all, quality content in all the niches mentioned and those not mentioned still have the greater percentage of roles to play in both attracting visitors to your blog and your blogging success.

So as a new or upcoming blogger, what I have given you above is nothing but real and honest things to know and expect if you want to easily climb the ladder of blogging success.

And I want you to know that all the amount and rate of posts per day or per week that I have mentioned are all realistic estimate and pure guide on what you should know or follow at the initial stages of your blogging career if only you truly want to succeed within a reasonable given period of time in the blogosphere.

You should always know that as you continue blogging, you will continue to gather experience of your own and get more conversant with what you are doing.

A time should come when you can then start going beyond those estimates on your own and also you start trying out thing on your own that works and start implementing them to take your blog to the next level.

With the above information, you can now easily weigh yourself and see if you will be capable of sustaining yourself in the blogosphere on any of the niches you finally decide to jump into even without already having started out.

I have done more than halve of the job for you, so if by any means after reading all these and you are still contemplating or see blogging as something that will take all your time or something you cannot cope with, then you should know that blogging is not for you and you shouldn’t even bother venturing into blogging, you should try out something else and know that everybody must not be a blogger.
